Manufacturing
For 35 years, Form-A-Feed’s manufacturing capabilities have grown and expanded to meet the needs of our customers.  Form-A-Feed and its affiliates offer a diverse product line including micros, base mixes, premixes, concentrates, minerals, complete feeds, specialty products, ingredients, boluses, low-moisture tubs and water soluble products.

In January 2007 we began manufacturing feed in a new state-of-the-art facility using food grade technologies and micro mixing to the automated batching system.  The new plant produces consistent and high quality products, including organic feed.  Form-A-Feed manufactured products maintain a leading edge for the livestock industry.

Form-A-Feed products are now produced in four locations, allowing us to expand our capabilities and increase our production capacity – Stewart, MN (two mills); Buffalo Lake, MN; Atwater, MN.

Capabilities
Organics: Over the past few years, we’ve seen an increase in the need for organic products for livestock.  To expand our product line to meet the needs of our customers, we've become certified by QAI (Quality Assurance International) as an organic feed production facility.  Currently we offer organic supplements and mineral products.  Certification standards established by the National Organic Program.

Ionophore-free:  To meet the needs of our equine customers, we’ve established ionophore-free manufacturing facilities.  All equine products manufactured and sold through Form-A-Feed are safe for equine consumption.

Custom Formulation:  One of Form-A-Feed’s strengths is our ability to create custom formulations.  Our staff of specialists and nutritionists can determine which products are the best fit, or develop a custom formulation to meet the nutritional needs of each customer.

Private Label:  Many customers rely on Form-A-Feed’s manufacturing capabilities and consistent quality to produce products bearing their company’s brand.

Safe Feed/Safe Food:  In February 2009, Form-A-Feed's Stewart, MN facility became certified under the AFIA Safe Feed/Safe Food Program.  By participating in the program, Form-A-Feed demonstrates our pledge to food safety and enhancing consumer confidence in the products we provide.  All products manufactured in our Stewart, MN location will be produced under the guidelines outlined by the AFIA Safe Feed/Safe Food program. Products manufactured under the guidelines will bear the official program seal.
